1) Being gay is not natural.

And real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning, tattoos, piercings and silicone breasts.

I apologize in advance for the following rant. I try to refrain from b*tching about my life's problems on Da, but I just have to get this one out. I understand if you don't feel like reading this.

For those of you who know me personally, you probably know that I have a strained relationship with my father. (I'll spare you all the finer details.) Well now that my brother (oldest one, Sean) has been kicked out of the house, he's been more stressed lately. Also, if that wasn't enough, my other brother (Matt) is now in collage and not doing so well. So who better to kick around than me, right?

My father started it off by out of the blue making unjustifiable accusations that, because I stay up late at night, I must be looking at explicit material on the internet. He's never even seen the history on my computer so how can he make claims like that? He threatened to ground me because I couldn't explain what I did late at night. First of all, I have insomnia, meaning that I can't just fall asleep at an given time. I may be tired, but I just can't sleep, that's how it works. I didn't wish to explain my behavior at night because, lets face it, how do you explain to your perfectionist parents that their nearly 18 year old daughter is watching cartoons on youtube?

Just recently, I've been feeling slight depression. (something that is only really made better by the joy of my girlfriend) I wont go into detail, just know that it's do to a lot of sh*t going on between school, the next upcoming few years, finding a job, and family stuff. This coupled with my anemia have made me feel really bland over the last couple of weeks, causing me to loose my appetite amongst other things. So what's my dad's reaction to this? He flat out accuses me of doing drugs and wants me to take a blood test. WHAT THE F*CK!

So anyway, I'm avoiding him like the plague now. No doubt this will only fuel his paranoia and prove his point that I'm an absolute junkie and am shooting up in my room right now as we speak.

I don't know why I'm tell this to all of you guys. Maybe I just want someone to tell me that I'm not the only one with f*cked in the head parents. -_-
